The Skutt KMT822 is an eight-sided top loading electric ceramic kiln fitted with a WiFi touchscreen controller. It is designed to fit smaller studios and workspaces while still offering the performance and build quality of larger Skutt kilns, making it a versatile choice for busy pottery studios and serious hobbyists.

Power for this model is similar to that of a dedicated 35 amp cooker circuit. We recommend at least 18" clearance around the kiln.

Electrical note: Most of our top loading kiln models need to be wired directly into the electricity supply. The only exceptions are the
13 amp versions of the KM714 and KMT714, and our Skutt FireBox 8x4 and FireBox 8x6 tabletop kilns, which are supplied as plug-in models.
