Cromartie has designed and manufactured kilns for over 60 years, and during that time there have been many different kiln models and shelf sizes. Below you will find our most popular range of refractory kiln shelves for pottery, ceramic and glass firing.
Our kiln shelves are designed to provide reliable support, even heat distribution and long-lasting performance during repeated firings. Whether you are replacing an existing kiln shelf or adding to your kiln furniture, we offer a wide choice of sizes to suit many kiln models.
To help prolong the life of your kiln shelves, we recommend applying batt wash to the shelf surface periodically. This helps protect the shelf from glaze drips and reduces surface wear over time.
